These are the voyages of VTK and it's crew, seeking out new awesomeness.
FEDCON is the largest and greatest science fiction convention in Europe. Every year, thousands of Trekkies and Star Wars people, geeks and nerds, hot redheads in uniforms and aliens (who just want to hang out a day on earth without being arrested and poked with sticks) gather in Düsseldorf (or formerly Bonn) to celebrate a weekend of utter unbelieviality (which is technically not even a word)

Another year went round and again it's time for the fabulous Blackfield Festival, which gathers thousands of people in the heated amphitheatre of Gelsenkirchen (in the middle of the Ruhr Area, the industrial centre of the universe) to listen to dark music top acts AND ONE, COMBICHRIST, ROTERSAND, DIARY OF DREAMS and others.
From June, 25th to June 26th, the following bands will play:

The Wave Gotik Treffen is again bound to rock your socks and paint the town of Leipzig a darker colour. 20000 goths, 200 bands, 40 venues and a shitload of readings, cinemas, ren-fairs, the largest gothic market in the world, everything is waiting for you. Since the number of artists confirmed to play at WGT slowly grows into the millions, we devoted a whole news category to the upcoming grand goth festival that will see 20000+ dark people gathered together at one place in Germany:

June 9th will mark the beginning of half a week of concerts and parties around the clock, so quick, grab your stuff and head off to Leipzig!
WGT itself is on 9th-13th of June, with a grand opening concert kicking off the festivities at 6pm at AGRA, where most of the bands that played on the first WGT will perform again: AGE OF HEAVEN, SWEET WILLIAM, THE ETERNAL AFFLICT, DAS ICH, HENKE performs songs of GOETHES ERBEN and the exclusive and final performance of LOVE LIKE BLOOD (first and only live show since 1999!)
Ticket price is 81 Euros in advance sale and you will need to get a parking ticket and a "Obsorgekarte" incase you wish to camp at the AGRA grounds.
