Now that the WB Network decided to cancel the "Buffy"-offspring show "Angel", thousands of fans of the series gather in online protests and some have even rented a promotional TRUCK (700 bucks a day) to change the minds of WB
Websites like www.saveangel.org appear out of nowhere and fans of a show that was taken off the air in Germany after the second season are suddenly able to collect 20000(!) US dollars for a campaign to save it.
If ALF would not have been cancelled BEFORE the rise of the internet, would we be in the 201st season now?

The number of interesting bands that are to play at this years Wave Gothic Treffen in Leipzig, Germany promises the largest goth festival of the world to become one huge kickass party again.
Their website announced that electronic top acts like Feindflug, Suicide Commando, Covenant, Funker Vogt, In Strict Confidence, Terminal Choice, SITD and De/Vision will play, together with Crüxshadows, Catstrophe Ballet, Sex Gang Children, Crematory and tons of other bands who will cover nearly all aspects of what many people call "dark music"
Rumours of a Sabretooth Camp are also to be heard 
So we'll see us in Leipzig

does this even deserve it's own category or rather not?
Some people claim "vamps like the same bands as goths",
others who claim that "vamps do not necessarily have to be goth" say they like pop music.
Judging by the rather classical outline of the fictional vampire again some other people model their lifestyle after you might go for the classical sound of the last centuries...
